Pustaka Bersama is a work of four private libraries in Jakarta. Founded by Pustaka Aksara, Perpustakaan CSIS, Perpustakaan Freedom Institute, and Perpustakaan Utan Kayu, this library network conducted a comphrehensive and complete social science library network in Indonesia. This network has merged a collection of 40,000 book.
Work Done
We contracted by Pustaka Bersama to create a simple and clean website interface. This clean layout created particularly to represent their networked social science environment.
We create a standard based website interface, including a simple query to find the merged collection of the four library’s books.
To provide the search result effectively, we merged and mined all the four different catalogs of the libraries, based on Unicef’s approved ISIS and a proprietaries, and resulting the 40 thousand merged catalog indexed. This create a fast and quick search result to easy user finding of the books.
