The Client
Pimpinan Pusat Lakpesdam NU roots came from a basically traditional Nahdlatul Ulama, a largest social organization in Indonesian which probably account of 40 millions member nationally. Lakpesdam, which is a research and development institute for NU, usually speak itself as a think-tank and data resources for young NU’s intelectuals. Lakpesdam, has been widely collaborating and cooperate with various internation to do many projects, local and wordwide.
The Challenge
From the previous 2002 version website, Lakpesdam contracted us to redesign the website. They want a more intuitive and widely clear information placement to ease user understanding of informations, which is targetted for their traditional NU’s roots.
Our Solution
While we still keep previous data available, we transform it to the new form of structured semantic code, and added meta-data to make it accessible and usable. The redesign, a different kind of NU standard color (green), three column layouts, created with XHTML & CSS validated markup.
